In this album the artist did an absolutely remarkable job of fulfilling their aims and conveying the sickening, suffocating dread that all of us who are drawn to this kind of music have wallowed through at some time in the past. There's nothing left to take away here - the composition and execution is thoughtful and sure-handed, the result focused and powerful.
